Four Winds

It's been too long. I need to see my parents and then it will be spring. My only real Uncle had some heart surgery last week and I never wanted to smoke a cigarette more, so on with the yoga stretches and deep breathing that make my own heart surge. Today is a day of study and farm delights, it's an adventure and the high desert winds blow ideas from the muse this time of year. Finally designed a tattoo I'd actually wear, maybe I'll put a little pic of it to show you why I don't have any yet. I once designed a midnight moon and it was lovely on paper and on skin, I imagined not so much. If you care about your skin and have one thick or thin wear a hat. All the best people wear good hats. Too Zen even for me. I miss you, you know who you are. Take care of you.

(ugh, suffice it to say that my new tattoo is more likely to be worked into some oatmeal I have enough pain and regrets this week)

Peer Pressure Blog Survey Thing

Twenty five more or less things you might not know about me. One is that I have spent time in an isolation tank made of virtually sea water. And no I don't mean Wyoming. Lets see two is that I've attended each University in Idaho at some time or ruther, and give me a chance to finish in another state. Three is that I wouldn't wish cancer on anyone. Four is going to have to be that I do enjoy watching football though the super bowl seems anticlimactic most years. Five is that I'd rather be playing tennis year round. Eight is that I hope to ski next season, which will require some lbs loss between now and then. Nine is that I need a walk today. Ten is that I've allowed myself a morning shot of NyQuil and plan tea and a salt bath, pretty much sums up Sunday. Are we up to 25 yet? Sheesh Alright 11 is that I have been able to catch up with some very important people online that I'd have lost utterly if not for the internet and I'm still agog about the whole technology thing. Twelve is that I'm barely computer literate. 13 Who wants to be lucky thirteen? My husband is probably my favorite man on the planet with my dad and bro cousins rounding my life plus some out in thrilling ways. Fourteen my female family members are out of this world awesome. Fifteen is I'm helping myself to another shot of NyQuil, and am a wuss in general about pain. 16 is the year I had a little black truck gift, can we say spoiled rotten?! Seventeen is the year I began to panic that I'd never get laid. 18 19 20 is the year I discovered that there was something better than sex. Twenty one I was working as a volunteer in an anti drunk moonie esque twelve step hot dog stand without my drivers license for a solid year (not my best work). 22 I fell in love with skiing in Sun Valley again. Twenty three this is how these twenty five things are to be listed, right? Twenty four my life is was and always will be free form chaos. Twenty five I love my life and if you are in it, thanks.

For all the Mothers

It's a snowy day in the neighborhood. La, la la. Went for some house hunting and promptly came back to my current favorite location, location, location, home. I found a new area, suburb of a shanty town esque. People build boom to bust in these hills in every taste. I found my 4 wheel high drive and eased with the slide as the roads have a nice coat of snow. We saw a car with California plates with the same house oogling eyes. I think we'll relax for the winter on doing the economical house buying shuffle. Although we'll keep our eyes open for the right spot.

At least a Grand

These are a variety of snaps to update, on with the blog! One is of an elk herd in the refuge outside of Jackson Wy. Yeti is getting a reach, Maddy in her sunrise up dog usual sublime pose. Oh what else the yawn, Le Grand Tetons. Come get em or at least enjoy a view. That couch may be ratty but it holds two of the best darn sweet dogs ever made. As ever best wishes for a fantastic day, we are blessed. Thanks for peeking in everyanybody. Yeti's belly calls...

Picture this confidence, Gold

Normally you'd have to bribe me with something or else I'd take the following information to the grave. Only for you and just today this will give you a peek at a most fun place on our mother earth. I hit the GPS unit along my four wheeling camp adventure within Wyoming's Roaring Fork Creek. We had the pleasure of getting to an elevation of 8888 feet on the 8th month of our year oh eight. The swimming was cool but not cold, every person (plus horses) we saw and/or met was there for one reason JOY. An hour away from my crib and you'll find me bouncing in the backwoods like an all American girl should.

Did I forget to call this post YeHAW?!

Stay tuned for future picture post.*

Coal from Santa? Not Cool

Gotta give it to Russia today, way to distract the world from China's artistic contribution by destroying *certain restrictions may apply Georgia while we all get distracted by games originally designed to take a break from war. I think calling Putin a party pooper is about the least someone from my neighborhood could contribute. Well the education of modern changes continues, but it will in no way force me to ignore the amazing win by the Americans last night for a thrilling end to the relay swimming competition. Way to go guys!
If you, dear reader find time, carve out some Olympic event watching while stretching like a yoga cat. I may be forced to resurrect a treadmill in front of these deeply moving events.
Game on.
